Suggestions for children

Children and their parents can experience many exciting things at Dresden Airport. Whether it is a birthday party, the first day at school or an exciting tour: there is something for the whole family to enjoy here.

Extensive hygiene precautions ensure a safe tour. We would ask for your cooperation and support.

  • The number of people on each tour is limited so that we can maintain the general social distancing rules.
  • Disinfectant dispensers are available on site.
  • The handles and seats in the airport's own bus are disinfected before each tour
  • All those taking part aged 6 and over must wear a medical face mask.
  • We retain the right to exclude any guests from the tour who have symptoms of a SARS-CoV2 infection (a cough, a temperature or a cold).

More suggestions for children

Dresden Airport has a large indoor playground for children known as the Playport.

The Playport is open to all passengers and visitors and is located above the P3 airport car park. Children can play and let off steam here at an area measuring more than 2,000 square metres. In addition to table football, children’s bowling alleys and a climbing castle, there is a separate indoor football pitch as well as seven colourfully decorated party rooms and a stage for theatre performances. The lounge next door provides plenty of space for parents and has access to the Internet, a TV and a range of drinks. We serve food and drinks in the Panorama-Café.
